French Elementary Teacher Wanted for late July 2009
The International School of Tucson in Tucson, Arizona, is seeking two Lower Primary French teachers to teach in our Pre-School (ages 3 – 6) and Junior School (ages 5 – 8) Sections.
These are two-year appointments commencing July 2009. Candidates must have a degree, teaching credential and 3 – 5 years’ relevant experience; IBPYP experience would be advantageous. Candidates should also be willing and able to offer extra-curricular activities, be resourceful and adaptable and be willing to work in a young and growing school.
Appointees will receive a locally competitive tax-free salary, housing and medical insurance, however due to the nature of the visa, s/he should hold a European passport and not be currently living in the US, and s/he must leave the US at the end of the contract; there is no possibility of an extension or of changing to another type of visa. Candidates must also not have previously claimed the tax-free status exemption.
