National Defense Day

National Defense Information Day is organized once a year in all the French Consulates throughout the United States.

Young people holding the French citizenship and registered with the French Consulate in their state of residence, who meet the age requirement (17), are summoned individually by mail.

The absence of lunch facilities at the consulates has made it necessary to regroup the presentations over a four-hour period.
